We strive to serve your fishing needs by offering low prices and a large selection of products. Below you will find some frequently asked questions as well as some of our policies. How can I order?


You may order all items shown in our store by adding each item to your cart. You have a choice to register with us or not. Registering will speed up the check out process on future purchases, and give you the OPTION of receiving an occasional email from us regarding new items or special discounts. Please note that if you decide to register with our site, your information will not be shared or used by us except to process your order, and you must opt in to receive our occasional email. Usually, our entire inventory is not listed due to recent shipments or time restraints. If you are looking for a particular item or a particular color, don't hesitate to contact us.

 

How can I pay?


You may pay using your MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover Card. Or if you prefer, we also offer PayPal. All credit card transactions are processed through a secured server and a SSL connection. Certified checks, cashier's checks, and money orders are all accepted as well. You will be able to pick your payment option at checkout.  Please note, shipments on items paid for using check or money orders are delayed 7-10 days until payment clears.

How long will it take to receive my order?

 

All items less than 13 ounces can be shipped USPS First Class Mail. The standard delivery time for these packages is 2-5 business days. You have the option at checkout to upgrade to Priority Mail

All Items 13.1 ounces and above are shipped USPS Priority Mail (1-3 business days) or Parcel Post (7-10 business days) depending on the size and weight of the package.

Orders usually ship within 1-4 business days after receiving cleared payment

Items are packed very carefully to prevent damage in transit. 

 

What happens if I don’t receive my package?


All of our domestic shipments are tracked via the United States Postal Service. Once the package has been delivered to its destination, you are responsible for any loss or damage incurred after that. At checkout you will be given the option to purchase insurance to protect your items against loss or damage during transit. Please note that the USPS requires that you present the item in question, along with all original packaging materials to your local postal facility in order to process a claim for damage. Your damage claim is paid to you by them, not us.

 

Do you ship internationally?


Yes, however, international shipping is much different than domestic shipping, so please understand the following:

All international orders are shipped using USPS First Class Mail International. This is by far the least expensive service available. Please note that USPS First Class Mail International is a very reliable service but it is slow. In our experience, 2 weeks is the average transit time, but packages can regularly take anywhere from 1 to 5 weeks to arrive (or more depending on your customs clearance) after leaving our facility. If you desire faster delivery and are willing to pay the fee, we will ship USPS Priority International.

 

Because USPS First Class Mail International shipments are neither insurable nor traceable, TheFishCatchers will not be held responsible for lost packages (theft, customs, military coup, etc.). If you desire added security for your package and are willing to pay the additional fee, we can ship USPS Priority Mail International which is insurable. All international purchases totaling $50.00 or more must be sent using the service that allows tracking and insurance. To most countries this can be by Priority International Mail but for some countries the USPS only has these services available under Express International Mail. If you are unsure or would like a shipping quote please contact us.

 

Depending on your country’s laws, you may be subject to import duties and taxes on your purchase. Your charge from TheFishCatchers includes only the cost of your item(s) and the cost of shipping, you will be responsible for paying any additional import duties and taxes at the time of delivery prior to your package being released to you. Customs and taxation policies vary widely from country to country so please contact your local government office if you'd like more information.

 

We represent all of our products as merchandise and the declared value for each item will be the exact price that you paid for it. We do not mark items as gifts. We do not include the shipping charges in the value of the item.

 

Will I have to pay any taxes or import duties?


South Carolina residents must pay 7.00% sales tax, all other states will not. There are no U.S. taxes for international customers, however, you will be responsible for any additional customs handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Because each country is different, and these fees change often, we do not know these fees. Your local post/customs office can give you this information.


What do I do if I need to return or exchange an item?

 

  We hope that you will always be pleased with your purchase, but in the event that you would like to exchange or return an item for any reason, please contact us and we will give you the return information specific to the product you are returning. We allow a 15 day inspection and return privilege, but the product must be returned unused, and in its original packaging for a full refund of purchase price. If you are returning the item because of our mistake, or if the item was defective, then your original shipping charges and your return shipping charges will be refunded to you. If the item is being returned because you changed your mind, or didn’t like it, then you are you are responsible for the return shipping costs, and no original shipping charges will be refunded.  It’s ok to send items back to us using the cheapest method, but please send items with delivery confirmation.

Our merchandise comes from many sources. We have items that are direct from the wholesalers or distributors, while others are from liquidations or over stocks. Inventory changes, but we have new items that are always on the way. Please contact me if your looking for something not found here, or if you'd like to purchase in larger quantities.
